Started thinking about WC again, quick question!

The fluid is Mayhems Aurora Nebula Blue if you didnt know

I want that stuff, so sexy!

yea i could tell and it looks great, (just curious, did you check that all your components are compatible with that dye? because i know its not meant to be used for 24/7 loops, mayhem himself said its more for shows and such)

Yea i realize that, The Raystorm and D5 are Tested and passed, Im sure the rez wont be a problem, Just the Rad and GPU block i dont know about. Just gotta take the risk i guess

Thanks for the comments guys

Temps are normal for idle, you will never get lower than the ambient temp of your room anyway, unless you are using DICE or LN2

Needs some load temps to see how well you are doing.

Just away to Install Prime and 3dmark and see what temps i get

What temps should i be looking out for on Water cooling?

Well i ran Prime for 30mins, Ive not a clue if this is any good for WC?

The Fans (2pull and 1 push) were set pretty much near the lowest setting on the Fan controller, ive no idea what RPM that is.

Temps seem ok, i'm not sure what the average temps for a 2500k at 4.6 under water are but they don't look bad.

Got Furmark going, 10mins so far and GPU's hit 46c

Im use to seeing the GPU up into the 75 odds doing intensive stuff

temps seem really good actually because my 2500k is at 4.5 with 1.3v yours is 4.6 with 1.33-1.36volts and to compare when folding my cpu is around 62-62C (but its only a cpu loop, no gpu)

Ibanex81 redo your prime test if ya can please to show us better the thermal range. Start hardware monitor before you start prime this will give us idle and load temp ranges

Thanks

Ok I re-done it this morning again for you SIN.

My i5 is at 4.6ghz during this test.

My room Temperature is 18.5c

I opened up Prime and took a Pic of the Idle temps Before the test (8:04am)

I then Ran it for a little longer than 30 mins (8:38am)

With prime still running i took a screen of it.

Hope this helps

nice temps mate. But all ya have to do is open hardware monitor and leave it alone then run prime for your determined length it'll show idle and load with one screen shot.

Just checking - but im not sure whether you are testing the temps simultaneously?

For heat stressing I ran prime95 and furmark at the same time then noted the max temp after 25mins.
