Specialtech Closed?

So whats happening? Where are they going wrong? Given that global predictions for the gaming market as such are rising exponentially you would think it would be a safe bet to be in this business. FrozenCPU and Specialtech should have been benefiting from this. Obviously the PC market has been hit hard by all things Apple\Android. Hopefully Windows 10 can restore some of the ground lost.

You would have thought so wouldn't you, it has nothing to do Apple, Android or Microsoft, you need to look at the bigger etailers just have a quick search on Amazon or Play also Newegg you'll see what I mean.. Amazon do all EK hardware and it's EK Direct Via Amazon shipping... cut out the middle man and gain greater margins for example the EK R9 280X DCII Nickle block on Amazon is £110.15 with free shipping but on Overclockers it's £80 with £9 shipping which is great, but as a specialty store Overclockers won't see much profit after costs.

I know I'm jumping in later here, I was looking for a new water block etc. Went to special tech to find they had gone, was just about to post it up on here, but luckily found this.

Sad day for me, as I live in China those guys really did solve my problems!

I remember back in the day Special Tech sold the top stuff, gaming motherboards, ram, cases.... Sorry to see them go!
