its either the core edition 7850, or the sapphire 7850, not much in it on price. but yeh. he needs a cd drive. but that is only £12 lol.

no idea. but he is gonna have my old screen, 19" 1280x1024, so even bf3 should run flat out on it on a 7850. i would of thought.

i agree. but he is getting the scren for free. so beggers cant be choosers

i will however try and push him to just buy a new 1080p screen tho.
