Hi guys decided to get a Corsair Carbide Spec 01 as I wanted to see if I could get all my kit from my 750d in it.
I would show you the cable mangement but I dont want to take the side panel off, you need to be very patient and work out how you are going to run the cables.
So here it is and I am really happy with the results:
But I might add some lighting

Motherboard: Asrock 990FX Extreme4
CPU: Amd FX(tm)6300 six core Black Edition 3.5Mhz (overclocked 4.1Mhz)

Graphics: MSI Geforce GTX760
Sound: Onbrd
HDD: Baracuda 1TB
HDD: Toshiba 250GB

Very good job. Its amazing how clean that cable management is for a cheap case. How's the build quality?

Case quality is very good I don`t think there is anyone else that is offering this series of cases at the price and build.:D

Great job on getting all the bits into the case in a neat way. I find it refreshing that there are smaller cases that can do the job. It seems that a lot of peeps have a case that looks empty, but neat in larger cases. That seems like a waste to me.

I had a rethink on the layout of the case and spent yesterday doing a couple of things.
I managed to fit 2 x Corsair AF140mm in the front of the case behind the front bezel , so I removed 2 of the SP120mm off the rad still getting a push pull config but this free`s a some more space in the case.
I wanted to have my hard drives in a more accessible positions as they where all cable tied in various places, so after a little modding I was able to fit a Corsair 750d drive caddy in the case.
I fitted a optical bay (BOO goes Tom) but I do have a lot of old games that still need the DVD player to run.
Added a couple of more pics.

Rip ISOs and mount them? :)

Anyway, nice look! It's not a bad looking case for the price, but I'm still not keen on the front grill.

I was thinking of modding the front grill with a couple of these

th

or something similar

I mount at the front for a push pull configuration, I could mount at the top but only in push, plus I would loose the exhaust fan as well.
I have been looking at modding the top of the case by moving the rad towards the 5inch bay but I would need to drill a few holes for fitting and extraction of heat. I don`t like having items outside the case which could be done but I like clean lines.

Are you painting the rest of it white? If not I do like the clean white internals but the roof just looks out of place to me.

I have now finished painting the case
Here are a couple of pics, I have also included a couple of pics of the MB update which will be put in the case at the weekend.

Nice! Very nice in fact, much better with the top panel black.. It really pops now with all the white internals. :)
