speakers + subwoofer on realtek AC'97 soundchip?

Hello again OC3D forummembers,
So lately I was thinking to buy some new speakers for my PC, and I came across a cheap set with a subwoofer (still better than my current set). The Trust SoundForce 2.1 Pro set. Now I have absolutely NO experience with subwoofers, so could anyone tell me if I can connect a speakerset (2 speakers) with a subwoofer to the Realtek AC'97 soundchip? An if yes, how?

The soundchip has 3 plugs: A Line-In, A Line-Out and a Microphone port.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. :)

you´ll need a cable from the lineout socket to your soundsystem (3,5mm jack plug to chinch)

This is the back of the subwoofer, I guess one plug is the input for the speakers and the other one is the one for the subwoofer to the PC.

That's odd. Usually those connections are meant for connecting a PC etc. to the speakers, with a separate socket meant for the speakers themselves...

Do you have the little volume control unit which comes with it? It seems to be an integral part of the setup. I dunno though, Google images is failing me somewhat here.
