Morning guys, Been given a rather nice sony 20gb MP3 player, looks great and has good sound quality, only problem, sonicstage REALLY doesnt want to work on windows 7 ultimate 64bit.

Anyone got experience with this / know a workaround.

I have tried the mp_sony plugin for winamp to no avail, any help would be appreciated.

Have you tried right clicking on the .exe and selecting "troubleshoot in compatibility mode" ? You can try running it under XP mode or Vista it works with some programs that don't work properly with Windows 7 but not all.

Yea, I was just really looking for an alternative, using an old laptop at the minute to make do, but USB 1, my god its slow.

Don't know then mate, looks like you are stuck with the laptop unfortunately unless someone else knows a way around it.

The only other thing I can think of is using a virtual machine in windows 7 with Windows XP or Linux and seeing if you can do it through that.
