the water will run into the heat exchanger, which is basically freezer, taken down to nice and cold. An AC unit wouldnt handle the heat that will be put into the heat exchanger, however a Phase unit, which is essentially the same but far more powerful, would probably cope with the correct tuning. I would suggest employing someone to knock you up a cheap one tbh, like NoL
Heat exchangers can be bought but are fairly easy to make, you need, in essence, a tube which the water will flow through, which you then need to solder or braze another, thicker tube to. Maximum possible contact is wanted and the finished pair of tubes should be heavily insulated. This is where the pressurized gas in the Phase Change system gets to expand, drawing massive amounts of heat from the water. It will then leave the heat exchanger and go through a Refrigerant Compressor, not a pump, which will increase the pressure enough for it to revert to its liquid state and go back around. The result is some frickin cold water
