Monitors are fine, I was just saying the images may come off a little dark, like with the first flower one. But like I said, I love the shots.

Make some good desktop backgrounds tbh.
I will upload some more soon, and will put HiRes in for all this weekend when I get to the US. I prefer the darker shots, although it is more from the lighting conditions outside. I used photoshop to make the foreground stand out more, especially on the flower pictures

Look forward to seeing the results of your 7 hour flight, really impressed with the ones you've already posted. Like them all but, just like daniSaur's just said, the last one is my favourite, like a bit of urban photography. You have a deviantart page or anything like that?

Just got the A200 a coupla days ago... nice prezzie from ma uncle 
Anyway here are some test shots with a bit of post-shot processing
my monitor is crap... let me know if exposure and colours are off... the flower 1 is spose to have a purple-tone background
EDIT: the upload resize has messed up the res a bit so...

I think the flower one may have a little too much purple in it. What program do you use to edit the photos? And what adjustments do you do?
Cheers... i used lightroom 2 for processing....
Just messed about with the tone, clarity, exposure, saturation etc. etc. until i found a balance that i liked.... im still fairly new to 'proper' photography
Hmm.... my monitor show me only slight hints of purple, ill see if i can adjust settings a bit

It's only a minor suggestion, you don't really have to listen to me. It's still an awesome photo!
Haven't used lightroom before, does it have a "levels" adjustment? Or even something similar to Photoshop's "curves"? Just to add a small bit of softness in the flower one, not too much to cut out the sharp boldness theme you have.
