I only bought my XP because every now and then I get an extra rent payment, to make up for the fact they short me £80 every other month. So I have to find that £80, so when the extra payment comes in it's disposable. Well, I've paid for it, if that makes sense.

I bought my XP with one last summer, my Xbox with one this year and those Beyerdynamic T5P for £450. Which has turned out to be my best purchase ever. I have them on every day for a good 8 hours and they don't need to be upgraded. And they are clearly the best set of cans I've ever heard. Serious, I go to my mother's and listen to my £500 Grado and when I get home I always have this beaming smile on my face due to how much better they sound.

Amazing.

If something can't give me those feels all of the time? don't wannit.

In fact all of this year's PC upgrades are a case and water cooling. I may get another SSD which should push me into "SSDs only" territory and only because I can hear my spinners. Plus SSDs have dropped in price.. I got a brand new U7 MK2 for £66 today, which I thought was good.
 
Anybody here use Tor? Just curious as to how safe it is compared to the big 3(IE,FF,Chrome) and it's the free option

That or should I start using a VPN(paid ones, free has data limits and logging). Was thinking about NordVPN since I can get a 2 year subscription for the price of one year.

Or is setting up a VM for 24/7 to use instead of regular Windows really viable(don't think it is).
 
So apparently SJW's have injected their cancer into the Linux community and Linux devs of all backgrounds are threatening to pull their code out, Some of it really major code, Due to the new code of conduct which is about as far left as you can get without doing a full circle and being far right.


 
It was really only one. And its an empty threat in reality. Linux is GPL. they don't own it. Because of GPL, anything they did separate from the main branch that was needed or an improvement would be merged back in anyway. Lot of click bait and people making money on a pretty small and implausible potentiality. (thank goodness)

Got a new router. An ASUS AC 1750 one(they have like 3 different 1750 routers lol) and my god it's amazing. I cannot say enough how well it's doing against my old TP LINK router. Hated that thing. After one year I couldn't stand it. Started having insane number of dropped connections for only SOME devices. Yep some. Some wired ones work, others wouldn't, didn't matter which ethernet port it was plugged into(even bought a switch and didn't help). Some Wifi would just stop but really only for the farthest rooms but still.

So this new ASUS one hasn't had a single issue yet. AND it has built in OpenVPN client/server functionality without needing to install a custom firmware. Plus it's just insanely faster. I never thought i'd be so happy for a new router before:D
 
Guys quick question..

Best 4 pin 12v USB RGB controller you control in windows pls.

Asus want £100 and corsair want a kidney also.

Never mind, got. Found the Aquacomputer "Farbwerk". Connects up into the same software the PA3 and all of my other AC devices does. Was only £30, too.

So Apple "Geniuses" have been caught scamming customers, Why people still buy from these I'll never understand considering these machines are failing faster and faster.

 
So I just got an email from a scammer claiming he installed malware on my computer 6 months ago, He quoted to me my email address and the wrong password, Was close though with the first part but about 15 characters short.

Then said he has all the activity from my webcam, Which I actually have never used on this computer, Then demanded I pay him £1000 or he'll send my activity to all my contacts.


Told him -


"Go right ahead :D"


He replied calling me all sorts of names, Twas funny ^_^
