Small talk & Chit chat

Is it something with my PC, or it is intentional? I have my AdBlocker disabled (always on OC3D) but there are no Ads on the site.

There maybe an issue with AB I don't have it enabled here either but if I go to speedtest where it is enabled the ads show up anyway
Are you like me using Chrome?

Something strange is going on. I fired up Edge (yea that happened), and i can see ads. I removed AdBlocker from Chrome, restarted it and I still can't see Ads.

New Halloween movie is badass. Really enjoyed it.
I was going to watch it but the halloween sale happened and I'm now flying around in Elite Dangerous instead

I will watch it sometime, although I feel obligated to watch the original first just out of respect to Carpenter and Pleasence.

It's the first Halloween and indeed horror movie I have ever watched at the cinema, and bugger me I am glad I did. I never realised how much fun it would be to be in a room of s**t scared people all leaving their seats when you do. Seriously, there are some parts in it that are so jumpy every one cleared their seats.

It's not perfect, but then comparing it to the first two is hard. However, they did an awful lot to make it feel right. Like using the original font in orange and ETC and using actual clips of the first film too. Very clever.

Brilliant fun too, and some actual LOL moments in it as well (the little black kid is so bloody funny lmao).

SPS - yeah me too man. I like being scared and my anxiety driven up without the gross. There are a couple of gross moments in it, but I was OK with that. They've done really well with the sound and light as well. It genuinely has you crapping your pants, then eases off with some comedy, then it's back to crapping your pants.

hey everyone! Thought I'd creep back on here after some time -mostly- away...

much happen apart from AMD's return to fame and Nvidia releasing XFX gpus?

It's actually the only horror I've seen at the cinema too ha.

I didn't watch a single horror movie until I was about 16. And it was a "easy" one, The Shining. I mean crap, some would say it's not even a horror movie.

I remember Halloween being on the TV when I was in hospital (I was 7) but I was so petrified of the idea I pulled my covers over my head haha. The teenage girls were watching it that were in my ward.

And it continued that way, until I started getting psychiatric help.I started watching them full on (scary, not stuff like Saw etc) when I was in my 20s and fell in love with the first two Halloweens. No outright gore, but scary as balls. I think being autistic (well, I know) that I have a strong sense of smell, vision, hearing etc. Which means I have very high anxiety, so overloading it now and then is quite fun. That's probably why I prefer slashers/scary to gore.

I have watched some of the Final Destination films but aside from the gore I thought they were totally stupid.

Loved Rob Zombie's first Halloween thought it was excellent. Second one had me turning off at the beheading, but it was poo any way. Stupid story and really lame.
