slow control centre ???

Lo all,

Ever since I got my Mach II it has always been slow to respond to fan speeds I adjust in the control centre. Not just a few seconds, I'm talking about sometimes up to 15-20 minutes. I notice that if I change the speed before starting a game they often dont actually change until I come out of the game Is this normal?

I wouldn't have thought it was normal. Sometimes mine just never changed at all, but that only happened twice after using the rig for Many days, I didn't sit around for 20 mins waiting though, I just set it to 'normal' again. Most of the time it used to do it immediately, You could hear them speeding up after a few seconds and the RPM rates increaing on the software indicator.

I'd say somethings amiss on your unit mate.

either upgrade you firmware or even your control center software that should help ...does it do this even when you first open control center?? or is it only after it has been running for some time??

See thats what mine did before it bit the bullet

I would reflash to the latest firmware and reinstall the MCC software...

Mine would take up to 45mins to change before I started having probs as when I first got it it was straight away...

Upon start up or reboot it's fairly responsive 30 secs or so. I've already updated the firmware and control centre software.

What firmware you running?

I've got exactly the same problem here . I've flashed to the 846 firmware and have control centre 1.24 running. The fans just dont do anything!! There stuck on full speed at the moment and are doing my head in.

Phill if you reading this does it sound like the board on the Mach II is shot?? If it is how much to replace it??
