700W store supplied psu, I`d be hesitant.

I would never consider using my current psu for sli, no way in hell.

Im looking at getting a new one anyways so we shall see, most prob a pc power one. They look and sound sturdy.

Cheers for all of the comments guys. Given me good info to think about.

so this threads title should be changed as it suggests that you dont know if you need a new one. and in this case i recomend an ultra x3 1k or 1.2k psu sturdy and completely modular

ummm...no. The title suggests that do I need a better PSU if im going to run sli. therefore, its staying the same. Cant change the title of threads anyways. ;)

PSU's are one of the few things in a PC that don't need upgrading often should you buy wisely. I always buy a PSU that is more powerfull than my current(excuse the pun) requirements so when the next powerhungry GPU arrives I'm already set to go.

The only problem with this is when GPU manufacturers decide to change PCIe connectors but thats something you will just have to live with.
