SLi & Dual desktop cracked !!!

Got myself a Matrox G550 PCIE card, it's the only PCIE X1 card but it fits just in the x1 slot above the 2 x16 slots on my DFI SLi-DR mobo. Installed the drivers and activated the second screen and that's it, dual desktop in SLi mode. Searched high and low on the net for this and I coudn't find anyone who has done this with a Matrox G550 PCIE x1 card.

Cheers Mav, the card cost me £61 of of ebay. Never thought id pay that much for a 32mb card but when youve been bitten by the samurize bug its hard to give up even for Sli. Now I can have the best of both worlds again

What are the advantages and why did you want to do this?

That also means that there is space for three GPUs...

cos you have to manuially change sli between sli and monitor array when you want it to change, this means you dont have to do that.
