Siri on the iPad?

Anyone else annoyed with this? I'm just annoyed after getting my 4S, Siri is announced to be released on iOS6 devices, such as the iPad, and it was one of the reasons i went for the 4S over the 4...

Although i don't mind that much, it just seems a bit like wasted money siting in my pocket....

Edit: See here http://www.apple.com/ios/ios6/

Does SIRI really work that well for you?

Because i'll be damned if it picks up half the things I say.

It's not even that I don't annunciate my words clearly, it's just not very reliable for me.

Well, admittedly no, but still as i said, it was one of the features, that pushed me to spend a bit more, even if it is a bit buggy, although then again, its still in its beta stages

Such things shall always happen, i'm afraid. Now more people can experience the frustration that comes with trying to get SIRI to do your bidding.

Damn you, I was excited about getting Siri on my 3GS!

Small print at the bottom of the iOS6 page you linked says Siri will only be available to the 4S and 3rd generation iPad still.

Good news for you at least.

Siri is still only in the beta stage. But I suggest jailbreaking it to get Siri tweaks such as International Locations, API additions, MyAssistant, Persistent Assistant, and Extensions.

The reason I bought the 4S was for the speed and the new camera. Siri was a bonus and merely for fun. Jailbreaking offers way more functionality than Siri provides (stock anyway).

I was excited about Siri for texting while driving. Unfortunately, AT&T only has EDGE in my area and Siri is completely unusable on an EDGE connection in a moving vehicle. Also, by the time you pull Siri up and ask it to do something, you could have done it quicker yourself. It's not speedy like in the commercials. I know it's still supposedly a beta, but as of right now Siri = gimmick.

I don't understand how this could annoy you. You have just bought an iPhone that will get superseded in about 3 months anyway. Plus how does the iPad affect how good your iPhone is? Be happy that for the time being you have the best phone on the market

tbh, i don't really use Siri, messed around with it the first few days when i got my 4s, not so much now but then again it wasn't the reason why i got the 4s. Its good, don't get me wrong. but as mentioned, its in beta still and hopefully will get better so it can be used more
