Not everyday that you see a company underrate it's product for so much. Still, £100 for a bronze rated 850watt would seem a little much to me. £100 for a gold rated 850 watt...that's a bargain and a half.

£100 for gold? Id be worried mate not happy.

I used to buy Silverpower alot when the majority of systems only needed 400-500w. Very underated company imo, and not one to blow their own trumpet. Decent pricing verging on budget.

... gorilla ... what were they thinking ??

I was just going to comment on price, with something to the effect of "Corsair are about the same price and I've been buying their 750w+ for a while now..." Until I went to the Scan website. The Corsair Enthusiast is about the same price - but when the fudge was the AX850 £145+ ??? I never paid £145!

Really fantastic performer and for that price it is an amazing deal. It should really be labelled as a Silver rated PSU given how efficient it is !!!

Its a suprising performer in sheeps clothing and the Gorilla is a Silverback thats why they used it to fit in with their name

I've had a SP500 500W and use with a C2Q8200 oc-ed and 2xAsus HD4850 in crossfire both oc-ed and had no problems what so ever. So those things are more than capable.

What does that Gorilla stand for , POWER ? (yea a bit of a duh! moment) looks a bit weird...
great performing PSU NO doubt !
