Side Panel Reservoir

I like the idea of water cooling, I think its the thrill of mixing two opposites. However I don't like the poxy small reservoirs you get with the standard kits, so I built my own. The WHOLE side panel as a reservoir

The whole system holds 2 litres of water

Easy to monitor water temps with the Aquarium thermometer sticker.

Those nice little bubbles are really soothing. A bit hard to appreciate this from these pics as my cam's flash is killing the effect.

thats is awesome - im sure ive seen that dual monitor setup up before somewhere but with a different case - it looks like the whole pc is in water! brilliant!

Cheers nick, I just got those monitors for a knock down price, two for the price of one . I suppose this is a budget attempt to simulate submergent cooling, well the looks anyway.

Mate , i love your res , it creates so much room for other things in the case & looks the dogs baws.

You could make a small fortune selling those , do you fancy doing a custom build model for me ?

It's really easy to make, you just need some perspex and silicon sealant. The only tricky bit is tapping the perspex for the water fittings, you'll need a tap for that (A tool that cuts screw thread). What case do you have by the way?

Im sure it's easy to make if your handy at that sort of thing , I dont really have anywhere i could try & stick it together at the moment.

I have a coolermaster black window m8 , my next 'project' will be based around this setup.

Sorry to bump this again but i'm tyring to build a WC setup with a custom splitters. I need to tap the splitters for the 1/2" barbs and can get plenty of them but i dont know the tpi on normal WC kits so can't be sure.

Can you help me? Your res is Awesome.
