Show your F@H Room/Rig !!

That looks awesome mrDMXtreme. What speed is your 2500k running at?

Best looking F@H rig so far

It's only at 4.0GHz. Going to buy a NH-D14 to OC it further. Not comfortable water cooling just yet so it will have to do.

I get 20K PPD with the GPU running without -advmethods and with my 580 I get about 25K PPD. I game for a few hours everyday so I don't get all of the 45K PPD I produce so I get 35 - 45K most days with the 803* WUs. I haven't undervolted it as I totally forgot, lol. Will try it over the weekend to see if I get any change in temps.

This is my main rig.

Notice the custom fitted USB 3 ports on the front.

Yes you see correct, I'm busting the conception of PSU requirements wide open, that is a 650 Watt PSU powering a 2600K and two GTX 560 Tis.

Most of the cables are hidden away, but a few are not. I just havn't got rount to sorting them yet. So it;s not as tidy as I would like.

I will try and get some pictures of my other rig uploaded soon.

@Pickster: Is that a Thermalright TRUE? What temps does it keep that 2600K at, and what O.C. are you running?

Nope, it's the next step up from the TRUE, a Venomous X.

With just the CPU folding (on 8 threads) the 'package' temp is 66c. The cores are a tad less.

To put that into perspective. There is no ventilation on the side of the case, I have 1 fan (at the front) blowing in and two blowing out (top and rear). The fans are also nice and quiet. The front fan on the CPU heatsink is 1300rpm, the one on the rear is less than that.

Also the CPU isn't the best example of a 2600k. For rock solid stability i'm having to run 1.4v for 4.5ghz.

It's a great cooler (as are most thermalrights).

As I said, that is actually my main rig, but most of the main parts were chosen with folding in mind and it's mostly just a folding rig as I do web browsing on mt Laptop(s) and most gaming is done on the (Zips up flame suit) Xbox. All that leaves the 2600k to fold 24/7 when I'm not moving it aroud or messing with the insides.

Nice setup Yassar, i hope to get a dual or triple screen setup one day, the more i see em, the more i want em
biggrin.gif

Thanks. A dual setup does come in handy in many situations. The 19" is a little small and I am hopefully going to replace it with another 24" screen soon.

@Pickster - have to agree Thermalright make great heatsinks. I'm just using my main rig (2500K @ 4.4) for folding atm. I was using my old gaming Q6600 gaming rig as well, but the PPD for the power consumption is pretty crap.

i picked up a second screen off ebay. a 20" 4x3 for £20, it doesnt need to be mega good, or cost the earth. but i couldnt live without 2 screens now

That 24" looks huge! Almost like a 27".

For normal desktop use I don't think I'd want any bigger than 24". And now you have said that, I have just looked up at my 19" and 24".... the one in yassarikhans picture does look rather large.

Must be a perspective thing.

After buying my 27", there is no way I could go back to a 22". It's amazing.
