Should I wait for the Radeon 8000's?

Just a quickie, I'm thinking about building a new rig for a friend and I was looking around and saw that the 8000's are meant to drop around April. Anyone know if that's right or when its actually meant to release?

They will be released in Q4, so we are looking at October December.
So no point waiting.

If your looking for the performance just get 2x of the card your wanted but in the 7000s series?

they WERE going to release them in march-april, but it got postponed to q4. The mobile 8000's are currently on the market in laptops, but they are just rebranded 7000's, prior to being postponed the 8000's had a wiki page showing the desktop gpu's as well, and they were projected to price model-model with the 7000's, but each would be a step up in performance. Not sure if they changed that and decided to do something else with the 8000's or not, because the desktop gpu portion of 8000's was taken down from the wiki.
