BTW the fans with the "thread holes each end" are referred to as open corner fans, as opposed to closed corner fans.

For ages I didn't realise there was a diferrence, but then fell foul of the mounting bracket thing myself.

Well I haven't updated this in awhile but it has come along nicely and is nearly done. All that left to do is get some sleeved cables probably red and some form of case lighting.

The case had now been fully vinyl wrapped in 3M Matte Black and 3M Di-Noc Carbon Fibre for the accents. I went with matte black hoping it would be less of a finger print magnet then factory gloss black, I was wrong its much worse haha oh well. This was my first attempt at using vinyl wrap and it was a fairly slow process with lots of going back and redoing entire panels. Overall i think it turned out alright some areas could be better. A tip for anyone thinking vinyl wrapping their cases don't learn on a phantom, practice on something easier first, all the angles on the phantom make it fairly difficult to do.

Also added a side window as the mesh grill was ugly and have no intention of using a side fan.

Lastly a second XFX 6870 Black edition was added for a crossfire setup. Enough with my rambling time for pics.

You actually cant see it unless shining light directly at it but a dust filter would be a good idea.
