Seller On Ebay, Epic Prices, What's The Catch ?

So last week I decided to buy the Razer Orbweaver but annoyingly I was short by like £10 *stupid bills ^_^* so I had a look around and noticed this store on Ebay selling every Razer product among countless other items for 2/3 the price and brand new to boot.

Now I thought I might aswell take a risk seeing as the store has over 25,000 positives and only 30'ish negatives and has been active for 3 and a half years.

It arrived a few days later in a brand new factory sealed box, Plugged it in and away I went.

How the hell can this store afford to sell new items at 2/3 of the price of the other places ? Fallen off the back of a truck maybe ?

Retail mark-up is a bitch :)

Lots of deals about if you're willing to shop for it.

In other news, is there anything they've made that you haven't bought yet? :P

Hehe, The only things I have from Razer are Mice, Keyboards, Keypads, Controllers, Headsets and mouse mats, Everything apart from the systems or clothing haha ^_^

I wouldn't buy their systems though like Christine when it's out or their concept systems i.e Fiona and The Switch Blade when they inevitably come out or even the Razer Blade.

Now now, lets not talk about our opinions on razer again ^_^

Buying stuff on ebay is always a risk. The prices can be too good to be true and you might end up with an imported product (e.g. a french keyboard).

I think I might need a new mouse, when dragging it keeps flickering, the abyssus is on the edge of dying I think, it served me atleast 2 years so I wouldn't mind if you shared the users page here aswell :)

This is the 2nd Razer item I have bought from this guy, first was a Razer Vespula mouse mat and I can't fault either, It's the genuine article but without the high retail markup, Still expensive but not as expensive.

Just learned another interesting bit of info, This man/woman operates in/with something called the grey market -

The trade of a commodity through distribution channels which while legal were not intended by the original manufacturer. The most common type of grey market is the sale of imported goods (bought by small import companies or individuals not authorized by the manufacturer) which would otherwise be more expensive in the country they are being imported to.
*EDIT*

I have been informed I am allowed to post a link, So here it is, Happy hunting peeps :) -

There used to be someone on ebay who was basically the grey market for racing bikes. Jesus the discounts :o. He/she vanished off ebay a few months ago so my advice is to keep a close eye on this seller.

They pop up every now and then and are really worth taking advantage of but you do have to be careful and know what/who your looking for.
My brother bought a brand new PS3 slim from one for half the price of a shop bought PS3.
That seller was sold out of everything within a month ^_^
