Scythe Mugen 3 (Rev 2) - Will it Fit?

As the title... I have a Sabretooth 990FX and want to upgrade from the standard AMD heatsink. I want a quiet cooler and I'm not planning to overclock. The Mugen looks pretty good, but also pretty big. The case I have now is an Antec 900 but I've been looking at an Antec p280 to replace it. Does anyone know if it'll fit either/or/both of these cases?

Should do yes...
But you can get a way better case than the P280 like a Fractal R4, and you can get a better, quieter cooler than the Scythe too, such as a Noctua NH-D14.

antec 900 will easily fit it, scythe isnt the quietest of air heatsinks either

Yeah, but here in NZ, the Noctua NH-D14 is $172 and the Scythe Mugen is only $83.95! Is there a quieter cooler for the same price as the Mugen with as good/better cooling performance?

Will definitely take a look at the Fractal R4 as it's around the same price and seems to be much cooler than the P280, but it's also smaller and the white trim looks ass-ugly.

The Noctua NH-U12P is decent and quiet too.

But tbh, the D14 is the best heatsink there is, and also one of the quietest.

Isn't anything better as far as air heatsinks go.
