Im going to get the 3930k for my mainrig, but i woulde love to get the C2/C3 revision. Could somebody show me the serial number for the C2 or C3 revision. Any info about the launch dates for newer revisions would be apreciated.

Seems like my fav store still sells the C1 (BX80619I73930 K)revision

The link shows that 20th of January 2012 is when the c2 stepping should be launching

By looking at the above, it looks as if intel are going to be changing from the 3930k to 3939k in order to identify the revision of the cpu. Im not sure but that's what i think they are doing

VT-d is said to be fixed, and thats the only different i know of. I hope that the C2 can be oc'ed a bit higher. Its no biggie, but if the C2 are in sale when i place my order, i will try get that one instead of the C1 revision.

Not yet need ram and a cheapo gfx card to tide me over till high end kepler. Got the wood today for my deskase. Waiting for a quote for the acrylic. Ill order the resistors tomorrow (300 of them lol) might see if anyone wants to sponsor me some waterblocks as ive spent well over 2k already. 2 ram blocks a xspc raystorm and some ek fittings would go down a treat

I must change the name as the theme has changed. And if you get vandal proof switches for your sys its easy to mod them to run off the motherboard header for power and hdd activity EASY

I was about to get those vandals but then i decided for lian li switches with usb's, headphone/mic. Btw did you get a good X79 MB for your rig?

Rampage iv extreme for the win dude. Ill be getting the ek blocks for it aswell and mayhems pastels will be running through it all. The log is going to be amazing when i start putting things together and taking pictures(apart from the crap temp 6870 ill get). I have yet to do any paracord sleeving because i dont know all the cables that im going to need whengtx780s arrive 4x8pin or 2x8pin+2x6pin you know what i mean so i want to have everything concrete before i start chopping
