SASJBVL Gaming rig

I haven't had really any issues with Windows 10 in the time i have been playing games, IMO if your going to buy Windows 10 Pro for the extra $40.00 you might be better off buying it on a USB stick for 1 its going to be faster instead of installing from DVD or if you go the DVD route just put Windows 10 on a USB stick.

But if your running Windows 7 or 8.1 you can do the free upgrade.

Na buying out right and will buy on usb if available here in OZ things are behind and slow to get haha. Was more worried about running high end games having issues with win10

TBH you have nothing to lost just do the upgrade from which OS you have to Windows 10 Try it out for a week or 2 and if you don't like it just downgrade back to which ever one you have :)

Ok so bit of an over extended update. I have changed everything and which way I'm going so here is the current list of what I have brought over the last few months.

I7 6700k LGA1151
MSI Z170A Gaming M5
Vengeance 2x8gb DDR4 2666MHz
MSI Geforce GTX1070
Sound Blaster Z
Aerocool DS200 Mid tower case with side window

and this is the list of what I still need to get
Samsung 850 evo 1tb SSD
Seagate Barracuda 2tb hdd
LG blu ray writer
Corsair Hydro H100i GTX 240mm
Microsoft software
Antec High current Gamer M 850 Modular power supply
AOG G2770PF 27" full hd 144hz

so not much really left to get before I can start putting it all together

Sounds pretty damn decent!

However, I would rethink the PSU you've chosen. Modern parts are really efficient and as such your build has absolutely no need for a 850 Watt PSU. It's a not a bad PSU but it doesn't particularly stand out, either. At 185AUD according to pcpartpicker it's not much of a bargain either.

You'll save some cash with a SeaSonic SSR-550RM. It's a semi-modular unit, but somewhat cheaper at 122AUD and its build quality has received quite a bit of praise. Lower wattage isn't an issue even if you overclock considerably.

Ended up going a corsair which was cheaper and better in long run still a moduler 850 but gold rated and 10yr warranty so cant argue with that
