ryzen 1800x dead cpu ?

Hello i am looking to find out what this means System agent initialization after mircocode loading its a new build using the crosshair vi hero with the ryzen 1800x the red led is on and the qcode is 08 i have put the new bios update on and they is a blank screen just wondering if it means a dead cpu the cpu as been in 2 boards and both are the same

Try loosening up your CPU cooler a little. I've heard that over-tightening the CPU cooler can cause this, oddly enough.

the cpu cooler was just sittin on it / it was a am3 air cooler just sittin on it / it was also just sittin on the motherboard box just the ram n video card with the psu nothing else

Ahh, forget that then! Dumb question: did you clear the CMOS via the button on the back of the mobo?

yes cleared the cmos when it was in the case it had the red led for cpu light up n the yellow for the dram on but when i take it out of the case only the red led for the cpu was light up

and when i google this ( System agent initialization after mircocode loading ) nothing is comin up they is no beepin sound to and i am using ram from my intel pc which works fine and it is on the list of ram asus says works on this board

able to get your hands on another CPU to test in the board?
What BIOS version is on the board? might be worth downloading the latest and flashing it

hi rob i have all ready did all this i as 2 crosshair vi hero the bios is the latest 1602 n on both the red led light for the cpu is light up and i cant get my hands on a other cpu cos went out and got a second motherboard

cheers for your help guys i just found out it was a dead cpu a seller tryed to pass on as a working cpu sent it back and they said all the pins was bent over with lots of cpu paste
