Edit.. Almost forgot.. Weh I boot up my comp I get a hang up for a few min, I Know its because of the wireless card (had the same prob with other ones)..any way to fix this?? TIA

Love the new toys Eguy :worship: , but I wouldn't recommend sticking them on your carpet without the static proof bag underneath. Could you perhaps send the Hauppauge and Bluegears HDA my way please. :D

Agreed the Haupage is just what I want. You selling it?

Those "All-In-Wonder" cards are great tho :D

I'm interested in that bluegears card :) how much does one of those set u back?

Looks quite cheap - £35 here in the UK.

I've read a couple of review on it, and it seems OK, but most of the reviews seem to imply that the Audigy is a better card, with lower distortion levels and background noise levels.

at what point does the system hang?

Login screen, takes about 5 min to show my user account, then takes about 3 once I put my password in to actually login.. If I take the wireless card out it fixes the problem ( I have tried 3 wireless cards)

Now with the replies...

@ Kemp: I am not seling the Hauppauge card cause its going in my shuttle ;) and yes, my wireing is a mess, I am rebuilding when I put my water cooling in so wait for the new pics :D ... still only 25 C in my case :D

@ Nick: the Wifi card PWNS I would really recommend it

@ Frag: Got it from teh Egg, its is sweet arse.

@PV: Yeah forgot to put AS bags underneath the other stuff :o

@XMS: I really did not like my Audigy. Had major driver problems, caused a ton of crashing/rebooting. Tried tweaking the drivers and I still did not like the way it sounded. The Bluegears card is amazing in sound. i like it much better. The dolby digital live is what makes it the best card around IMO. Also it has a TOSLINK/Coxial connecter on board... I use that for my Z-5500's and it sounds incredible. The Audigy had it, but it was in the external box (thats why I got the platinum pro) and it wasen't even close to this card. Hope this helps :D

BTW for you guys who think the Hauppauge is better then the ATi.. I got perfect Radio reception without even opening the antenna.. and the TV quality  is insane! MUCH better then the hauppauge

PHEW, now I need some sleep ;)

Ok guys, I changed the Wireless card into a different slot, and my computer booted normal... however, once I installed the driver and connected to my router, I restarted and had the same slow boot up. I searched the entire internet with no luck, Think I am just going to have to deal with it the way it is

you need to split down that process one more time.

was it when you installed the driver OR connected to router. if you have to use driver cleaner to get rid of drivers and try the process again. boot up with drivers installed and not connected to router aswell.

it is more likely a driver problem but we need to eliminate the router thing.

are you using xp64 by ne chance?

no no no, its not a driver prob. The driver is fine. It is when you already setup with profiles (entering wep key for your router) that is lags. When you remove the card it is fine because it is not trying to connect. And no, I do not have x64... MCE 05 here

Yeah really. That beast is 400MHz alone! Systems now adays are filled with so many frequencies they prolly add to about 5Ghz LOL
