ROG CUBE Project

Hi all,
I'm a new member to the forum and would like to show you my first real effort at building my own case from the ground up.
I've always liked cube cases, e.g the LianLi 343 and the like, but there was always something I didn't like (size, motherboard orientation, etc) so I decided to give it a go myself.
This project started off as 2 cheap aluminium mid tower cases which have been joined together.
There is not that much left of the original cases, although they did give me the overall size and frame for the build.
As you can see its not far off finished, but there is still a little left.
Most of the components will be in the finished rig but there will be some small changes, like fans and such.

Should have been a full build log like Tom said. It's really nice to see all the hardware coming together with a lot of high res pictures from when you first get the hardware until it's a finished build.

Not that I don't like the look of your build but may I ask what PSU you're using? I really don't like the look of that CPU power cable and that 24-pin cable with those green connectors on them =/

I wish I had kept a log as it has been an interesting project, although I hadn't really thought about taking photo's or a log until I came across OC3D and the forum. (Tom has a lot to answer for).
The PSU in question is a Highpower 850w semi-modular unit. Not a well known manufacturer but I've got another one in my other rig and they have been faultless. I would like a corsair unit with the red braided cable upgrade, but that will be in the future.

I have to admit, I am very impressed with the wait it looks. I love cube rigs myself, I wish the pics were clearer. Well done!

Should be moved to '' Rig Gallery'' .
Looks good, but there are couple of thing that I don't like.
1. Noctua fans doesn't really fit into this build...
2. There is lots of fingerprints on case( or pictures are not clear)
3. I think that your washers for the front rad are copper( you should really get black one)
4. Get some dust filters for fans, cuz you will block up your rad with dust pretty quickly and that will drop your cooling performance.
But overall I like your build:)

The rigs not finished that's why its in this section.
All the points you mentioned will be sorted plus more, the fingerprints part is my fault, should have wiped it before taking the pics.
