I put a kitchen worktop along 1 wall in the dining room, wifes setup is at the window end and mine is near the kitchen.

Here is my play area

I spend most of my waking hours here, so need something comfy to sit in and this chair lays flat if I need a quick nap.

Just need to get my monitor riser made to complete and when I can afford it a decent mouse and keyboard maybe I can buy for christmas. but I check ebay daily incase I spot a bargain :)

Painted my Keyboard yesterday.

and also changed the desktop pic as was unable to see my icons with the other.

Nice setup. I totally agree with the chair being so overlooked in most setups today which is a shame because it kinda is one of the most important things. I went out and splurged on a very nice and beefy one (I'm kinda a big dude) and it makes the difference between a 4 hour gaming marathon and my legs going to sleep and back hurting after 1 hour in the cheaper chairs I always bought.

Plus I use a keyboard drawer on my desk. I had to fab up a larger one by using a shelf off one of my other desks but I can have my keyboard and mouse on the keyboard drawer. That lets me recline all the way in my chair and pull the keyboard and mouse out into my lap. It's the next best thing to lounging on the couch and gaming.

Im trying to make a riser for my monitor but think the 3 mill acrylic may not have enough strength to support it.

To me looks like the Vertagear SL2000.

How is the seat on it?... I bhought an DXRacer once and it was quite nice, although the small "mountains" or what they are called, on the side of the legs were annoying.
As they forced my legs to be straight, I couldn't open my legs to the sides, to "stretch" them, if you get what I mean here?...

Im finding it great so far, sometimes feels a little hard on the arse, but then I do spend over 12 hours a day in it, loads of room for moving about
