Hi Guys

Just wanted to share with you all, I was told today i'm in remission, I am over the moon you would not believe.....

Has been a hard battle

Hay (has a beaming smile accross her face)

Good for you,all you need now is to win the comp. I know how it feels waiting around for test results as the wife just got her results back off the consultant. They suspected the Big C just a benign lump and no operation ,now she has to go for more tests and see more consultants.

Have a beer on me. Tony

:) great news, I also had a scare with one of my glands in my neck which has been swollen for over a year now. I went to the doctors about it when I found it, they said it generally goes away but nothing to worry about. I worried alot about it, went to the doctor the other day about it, it turns out to be my tonsils are pushing it out :), they're actually the same size. Also a lump on my chest which is a lump of fat.

Clean bill of health and I'm so glad to hear that Hayley :), keep smiling!!!

thats great to hear :) i know how stressfull it can be as my grandads got prostrate cancer and he's not long finished his first round of radio therepy, so thats great to hear you are in remission here's for a good year :)

I had renal cell carcinoma, a few years ago, was a 2 year battle, had to have a kidney removed.... But I am not in remission, and have test every few months to make sure i'm still cancer free - which at present I am

No prob in asking

Thanks for saying Hay.. I know these things can be hard. I was diagnosed with a bone cancer when I was 12/13.. took alot of time to get over, but I'm all okay now.

Was a nasty operation, 1'2" Scar on my left hip down to my bags (had to say

). Glad you're okay though. Keep strong.

I've got a scar like that

I got a hernia about the size of a grapefruit when I was 12. It came down between my legs (in the middle, like).

They sorted it but didn't mesh it. I had a scar about 4" long. Well, a year later it came back about the size of two grapefruits. Ended up becoming estrangulated and ruptured and I had to have an emergency op. I now have this massive scar about 12" long that starts on my left hip and stops right above my old chap.

Hayley. I won't pretend to know how you feel because I've never been through what you are going through. However I admire you for having the strength. My family suffer with dodgy hearts. Dad died when he was 34 and his sisters and brothers all died before 40 (barring one who had a double bypass). Thus every year I have to go and be poked and prodded and have tests run. And god, that's frightening enough.

I really admire your strength
