For everyday use there's nothing wrong with r134, in a Mach2 it's better than any vapochill SE, PE or XE (not XE2).
Thats good enough to get the best from Northwood, XP, Sempron, Winchester (although with winchester @ 3ghz temps under load hover around zero which is not the best).
Newcastle core - needs r404/507 to maximise potential.
FX53/55/57 - R507
Clawhammer 4000 - r404 or r507
Dual Core - r507 (Intel Dual Core will probably need cascade
)
So if you regas and want to run what you have at the best overclock and protect your investment for future upgrades the answer is r507 (still runs cooler and quieter than any Vapochill LS model).
So I would choose r507 (Mach fans set to 90% of full speed), but 404 is not a bad choice (fans can be left on normal 24/7) if you sleep in the same room as your PC and leave it on overnight.
Hope this helps, good luck in your choice my friend.
