The GPU can use a bit too much at times so if you leave one thread/core free it helps balance the PPD of SMP/GPU better.

i see. do i need to leave 1 core free if im only folding SMP?

Finally sorted my CPU out (no idea what was wrong though but removing the beta client and redownloading the gpu client seemed to work) so im back upto 10-14k ppd on SMP.

Everyone is safe this week as ive got noone in my sights, but next week i`ll be whizzing up the ranks!

I've got a question.

1. i've just learn to leave 1 core to assist GPU to fold better.

2. -smp to use all core to fold smp.

my question now is... what's -advmethods and bigadv ?? do i check for SMP and GPU??

please enlighten..
