Recording with fraps

I approve. I have one and i love it.

As other say, there's not much to do other than recording to another HDD. For me, it has helped only on games that tend to read/write data while playing. Or else, if u dont have much ram then other HDD is a "must have" since paged data is constantly being read etc.
 
id have to disagree, i have 2 500GB F3's and whilst the performance is decent - the random pulsing noises it makes at idle is louder than anything else in my PC which is why im swapping them out for 1TB WD drives
 
Mine is anyways only gonna run when I record and then I've got gamesound on, so its wont bother me

Hi. Fraps uses small compression. You should record on a drive that isn't running the application your recording and not the Operating System drive. Fraps support is good and I get response from the same guy every time within 48 hours. There is a trouble shooting section on the Beepa Fraps website
