@Tox: WASP is playing in a month or so at my local metal showhouse :)

They haven't been to the UK for years! :(

There first album was godly!

Anywhoo it nice to see so many rockers on here!

equk - I love pretty much most of the bands on your list.. I have more bands but I was at school while writing that list, amazing how many band names I forget.

ROCK ON :rocker:

well heres my current collection:

Best of Bonkers

Bullet for my Valentine - The Poison

Clubland X-treme Hardcore 3

Faithless - To all new Arrivals (Seeing them on the 21st :))

Hardcore Euphoria

Hardcore Heaven vol.4

Helter Skelter v Raindance Hardcore 2007

Tiesto - Just Be

Limp Bizkit

Ministry of Sound - Dance Energy

Ministry of Sound - Maximum Bass 3

Ministry of Sound - The Mash up Mix 2007

My Chemical Romance - The Black Parade

Panic! At the Disco - A fever you cant sweat out

Paramore - All we Know is Falling

The Prodigy - The fat of the land

Ultimate NRG 2007

Hardcore Nation Classics

Did have some pendulum but it seemed alright at first, until you realise most songs are the same. Classic Euphoria bored me as, sure they were classics but they are just sooo slow and boring.

When it comes to metal, I havw tried some old stuff like iron maiden but I didnt like it. Just sounded too old and I think metal is more my stuff (Love "Bullet for my Valentine") and other energetic stuff like that. I'd prefer to keep all songs singing about death and drugs as less as possible as it annoys me, but thats mostly in gabber tracks - crazy stuff :p

Maiden is metal tho? :)

Iron Maiden are an English heavy metal band from east London

Iron Maiden are one of the most successful and influential bands in the heavy metal genre

Maiden are teh gods, went to see them a few months ago live.

I used to listen to Dreamscape when I was 16 for a few months :)

I bought Hardcore Heaven (not sure which one it was) I liked vinyl groover best, but after listening to a few more dance/trance/hardcore tracks I just got bored. It started to get stuck in my head and I couldn't think at college :(

I found a lot of it sounded the same tho, lots of fast bass with a whiney girl/woman 'singing' :) I think I even bought some dance music thing (dance ejay?) for my pc and made some tracks.

Maiden truely are the gods of classic metal. And I hate you for going to see them live! I wanted to go! :p

Bullet for My valentine they are a little emoish... if you get what I mean. Plus they sound a little retarded..

Yeah but the actual music sounds great! Like some of the faster MCR tracks, dno why but they sound great. Same applies with Limp Bizkit (hate the lyrics, love the rap :p)

Getting some DnB right now but will hopefully venture into some more rock stuff

Noooooooooo!

Rap+Metal = horrid!

something nearly as bad(and wierd) is Rasta+Metal :(

Limp Bizkit+Linkin Park = Bane of True Metal

Totally agree with you there....

Hybrid bands should be shot.

@Chrisb - Led Zep have to be the founders of modern rock music.

I quite like Lost Prophets "Burn Burn"

Linkin park have some half decent songs :p

Not really into Indy rock but some songs are quite catchy like the new Razorlight one (dnt know the name!)

www.escapefestival.com in June if your up for it! :p

Was it the last ozzfest or the one before where Sharon Osborne created havoc by having a go at bruce

inson and basically being an arse when iron maiden were on stage by cutting the power etc? (think she threw eggs aswell)

Her reason was pretty petty and pointless aswell

edit: lol at the swear filter

I can't remember which one that was but it was an awesome story.

What was the reason.. ? :)

EDIT: lmao at the swearing filtering thing! :p

Might not be your kind of thing, but The Stone Roses is one of the best albums of all time.

If you like Faithless, get Forever Faithless, it's their GH and it contains a lot of good tracks. Also get Massive Attack's Collected.

All of the early HM bands have been mentioned, but have a look at some of the NWOBHM bands.

If you like The Prodigy, get Their Law, and maybe have a look at people like Pendulum.
