When it comes to hardcore I have plenty. Just started to get some electro stuff but I do like "Bullet for my Valentine" as a bit of an alternative to dance music. Also some of "My Chemical Romance" songs are quite good but don't like the slow stuff. Primarily I would like to hear of a band similiar to "Bullet for my valentine" but am open to other bands/groups/albums to try.

Also know any must have compilations?

Bored of having just hardcore, no matter how good it is...theres never enough out too different to keep me fulfilled for more than 2 hours :p

well personally i dont think anybody can tell you what good music is, you need to experience it for yourself.

but a good site to start with is pandora.com, infact its a damn excellent site and shd help u to no end.

try some other di channels like has been said...dnb,eurodance etc;)

for metal/death metal avenged sevenfold is alright.

Raging.

or metal/death metal avenged sevenfold is alright.
A7X is post hardcore dude, not death metal lol. But yea, Popo recomended some great classic rock bands. (i know Ozzy isnt classic but thats what its considerd as now)

They're talking about the EDM hardcore.

mrapoc, if you think there's "never enough out too different" to keep you fulfilled for more 2 hours you obviously don't have enough ;) I have a playlist that goes for days (cost a fortune though I might add).

But as 2 people have already said here, just listen to different DI.fm channels.

Variety is the spice of life my man.

Broaden your horizons and just get a shed load of allsorts, then listen to it and see what you like!

As you are into hardcore have you tried some dnb? You could get some of the harder darker stuff by Bad Company, Andy C, DJ Zinc, Hype or LTJ Buckem, Pendulum is more chilled out, in terms of dnb, dj marky - brazilian job is an excellent bouncy summer vibe...

On the metal-ish sides of things Mars Volta, at the drive in are cool, i'm loving get cape wear cape fly (but you don't want anything slow so prob not for you) maybe you'd like the subways or thursday...

I'm a hip hop head primerily who listens to a bit of everything from classical to indie to dance to anything and everything!

Dav0s nailed it - go find out what you like for yourself! Tastes change through the years. And Mr. Hendrix just rocks everything.

can you watch Kerrang on Sky/cable ?

You should be able to find something there.

I'm off to see My Chemical Romance next week - not really my favourite.

Hardcore to you and hardcore to me are different things.... When I see hardcore I think hardcore metal not techno. Hardcore metal being the likes of Madball, Converge, Unearth, Hatebreed, As I Lay Dieing, Shadows Fall.

Techno, bleh.

METAL!

CHILDREN OF BODOM!

IRON MAIDEN

JUDAS PRIEST

SKID ROW

MEGADETH

METALLICA

W.A.S.P.

DRAGON FORCE

BLACK SABBATH

OZZY

LED ZEP

And there are some ore but I can't remember them atm... :)

There all my faves!

But as Dave said its all about your opinions and so we can't really help... we can suggest music and bands but you may not like them all.

I agree, altho a lot of "hardcore" metal I find is just loads of noise with someone shouting (altho there are loads of amatuer hardcore bands near me)

Techno and Hardcore are different things by any definition!

Ask anyone that doesn't listen to techno to listen to hardcore, and they're going to tell you it's techno.

@Tox: WASP is playing in a month or so at my local metal showhouse :)

I must say, some of the local hardcore bands (metal) around here are really really really good, they put most of the mainstream metal bands to shame. Unfortunately its nearly impossible to get hold of any recorded music.

Feel free to come visit and go to a few gigs though ;)

@mrapoc: Have you ever got into DnB? Perhaps take a look at some decent prodigy stuff??

Fat of the Land, Music for the Jilted Generation, Experience Expanded, The Dirtchamber sessions

Loads of the buggers :)
