This is only my 2nd loop ever (first one was about 2 weeks ago) so please feel free to critique! Im not thin skinned and would appreciate any comments or advice.

The full system specs are:

X3220 G0 (possibly switch out for an E8400 or a Q6600 G0 - still testing)

EVGA 750i FTW!

8800 GTS G92 - (1 on RMA)

Corsair HX620W

2 X 1GB PC8500 Mushkin Extreme Performance 5-5-4-12

2 X 320GB Seagate Barracuda 7200.10 Perps RAID 0

D-tek FuZion

MCW-60

2 X PA 120.3

2 X D5 Vario

Tygon R3603 7/16 ID, 5/8 OD

CM690 modded and painted. Dual loops with a PA 120.3 on each. The GPU loop is supposed to be SLI but Im waiting on an RMA for the 2nd card. The CPU loop is going to include the FETs and the NB in the future which is why I have it on its own loop.

The wires need a tad more tidying, and I need to trim my fill lines as well as perhaps reposition the one going to the top pump. I also am going to get some modders mesh and make a cover for the lower right open area which used to be HD bays to cover up the wires stuffed behind there.

:D

Never seen a 120.3 on top like that before, but cool none the less.

Can you get some photos from above the case, so I can see how it sits?

you put the fans inside the shroud? does that makes any difference in performance?

Yea I set it up the wrong way.....Like I said Im new.

More pics coming....I should be able to take them this evening :D

Thx for the input!

Nice job on the case :) I've got the same and fancy giving the inside a coat of paint at some point.

The real proof is in the pudding, or erm, the temps I guess.

Looks sweet, hope she goes well :)

Cheers!

TY!

If I had to do it over again, I would NOT put both rads outside of the case, and I would NOT have used dual 360 rads. Its way way way too big, bulky, and heavy for my space.

The temps are good with the loops. I still need to play a tad more with remounting/etc but here is what I have thus far.

X3220 @3600mhz @ 1.52Vcore P95 stable 18 hours

Idle 34C Load 55/55/52/52C

(could be better but not bad for 1.52 Vcore)

1GPU 8800 GTS G92 @ 1.38 Vgpu and stock Vmem @ 875/2183/1085

Idle 36C Load 43C. Load applied with 3D01 nature loop for 1 hour, as well as those are my max GPU temps with an 8 hour gaming session.

HOWEVER, thats with the door off........

With the door on the CPU surprisingly doesnt really change much, but the GPU idle jumps to about 38C, and the load can get as hot as 47C!!

For a single card on water I think thats not very good.....and from the big difference with the door on/off I think i have same case air flow issues.

Still have some more testing, and I think within a few more weeks Im going to redo these loops once again.

I will likely mod the Antec 900 to hold a PA 120.3 and swap out the other 120.3 for a Swiftech MCR220. This time I am going to try to get both inside if that is remotely possibly.

the 240 Swfitech rad will fit on the bottom Im 99% sure, and the only place I could see fitting the 120.3 would be the top, but thats going to provide an airflow issue unless I remake the entire plastic top or extremely mod it. That 200mm "Antech Bigboy" fan should really pull some heat out of the 120.3 though...........

Or....perhaps put the 240rad up top and not mod the plastic top at all, and just use the 200mm fan to provide the air flow exlusively to that rad, and then I would have to mount the 120.3 on the back on the outside.

I would also put everything in 1 loop, but with 2 rads and 1 D5 vario pump.

What do you think?

well.. im actually considering the same way,cos it saves a lot space! thats y im asking if the performance differs.

with the pa120.3 and mcr220, d-tek fuzion ( stock?), mcw60 and 1 d5 setting 5, you get approx 1.95gpm, thats an excelent flow rate! maybe get some d-tek quard nozzle to improve the cpu temp.

Allready have the quad nozzle accelerator in there with the O-ring, as well as D-tek high flow barbs.

Actually I think the CPU temps are pretty spiffy for 1.52V.

Should they be lower with a 24C ambient?
