There's something really wierd going on with my sister at the mo.
Basically, a month ago she went to the docs with a bad flu virus. She was told to stay indoors for 2 weeks because they couldn't identify the virus.
Last Wednesday she was rushed into hospital because her temperature was through the roof and she was almost unconsious.
Since then they've taken blood samples, and done about three scans because the samples came back clean. While I was visiting her last night, the consultant came round and (to cut a long story short), he admitted that he was baffled. There's no sign of flu or any other abnormality in the blood, although they've noticed that the white cell count is up and down like a fiddlers elbow. During the scans they've found a shadow on her liver, but when they've gone to zap it it's disappeared. The same thing happened when they noticed an embrasure on her kidney and the same again with one of her lungs. Almost like there's something moving around and trying to latch on but it can't. Wierd:crazy:
