Real-Life Appearance Mental Problem

I heard that theres a mental problem with things that are meant to look real but are computer-generated. for example.. beowolf, it looks really close to real life, however; the eye detects the flaws, and you get confused or a headache or something.. just like if you put a real-life background behind a cartoon, you detect that something is wrong..

anyone heard about this?

Sounds to me like an excuse for the people who think it'd be funny to mimic GTA in real life...

QFT!

Millions love GTA and don't do anything stupid.. one guy does something and GTA has to be banned..

A little unfair. :(

exactly how will gamespot investigate how video games really impact our lives then?

will it be the old chestnut "we surveyed one hundered people..." and they all talked bo!!ocks! (like, er, how many times does anyone reading agree with these survey results anyway?)

as to how they are changing our culture;

well, my kids don't stand on street corners sniffing glue, or beat up old people and take their pensions, or break into peoples homes to steal things for a quick few quid to buy drugs or alcohol! Neither do they steal cars to joyride or vandalise property for something to do.

as for what are they doing to our brains, perhaps that question should be asked (more relevantly) about the crap they put 'on the box'!

mm its not rly to do with violence.. its just confusion that happens when a game is borderline fake/real and you sometimes forget your playing a game but subliminally know that something isnt right

supposed to cause headaches or somethin o_O

ah ok

speaking of ham and toxcity.. I think GTA would affect u more than manhunt 2.. manhunt appears like its about underground chambers (like hostel), stuff that we dont really see or know about.. GTA takes place in a city and we see that kind of stuff every day cuz its all around us, so its closer to real life (minus the chaos obviously)

kinda hard to explain.. know what im saying tho?
