The Razer Diamondback Plasma Edition is for the person who wants what is probably one of the best mice around thanks to the options available and is not for people who have read the review and are confused by the software.

Indeed they are. I was considering getting the MX518, but i read about a lot of people accidentally hitting the sensitivity buttons during gaming.

Well, my mouse is the MX700....and the Surf or whatevr Scroll buttons are the same exact buttons in the same exact spot as the Sensitivity Switches on the MX518. I never hit them, ever...and I have frickin huge hands.

They take up just about the whole mouse now.

In a year or so I'll need a bigger mouse!

(As I cannot stand small mouses.)

PV, how is the MX1000 compared to the MX500/510/518/700/900??

Bigger?

i once used my friends mx 1000 at a lan party and it was bigger than my mx510 in my opinion

MX1000 is a great mouse, have had for a while now and I like it very much. Bigger then MX900 (had a MX900 never get one ;) )

i have an mx510... took a while to get used to the weight of it... great mouse though... i would prefer it to be about half as heavy though
