Razer Firefly Mouse Mat Review

Well they already make mouse mats so this would be the next logical step to go with their RGB lineup that they had out well before Razer :)

*sigh* I'm surprised they haven't tried screens yet. Mobo's can't be far away either.

Who knows maybe they'll start making actual CPU's in a few years. I bet they have a USB port and RGB lighting directly on the IHS too

Lolz ^_^

Well Corsair have been making mousemats for over 5 years now so adding an LED base and a USB cable to it to control the colour is hardly venturing into new territory.

My step son paid a fortune for his Razer Tron gear. Problem is it's built like all other Razer products - crap.

The only Razer product I've ever had that has an air of quality about it is my Black Widow ultimate BF4 mech keyboard and that thing retailed for £149. Thank goodness I got a French one on Amazon UK for £34 inc.

Other than that though? Salmosa, Boomslang and now Naga all had buttons die.

I have had 2 naga's in the past 5 years I also have the anansi as I used to play World of Warcraft every day for years I must say i've never had a problem with any of the razer products I have owned and razer update the drivers frequently. Having said that I still think they are overpriced.

The Tron stuff was very poorly made but most of their stuff is solid.

I've had the Mamba 2012 Edition now for 3+ years, Still looks as good as new and is fully functional.

Also got the Anansi membrane MMO keyboard which I've had for around 2 years and that is still as good as new, Same with the Blackwidow 2014 Edition with Cherry MX Blues before they switched to their own green switches, Looks and works as good as new.

Razer in my eyes are the AMD of the peripheral world with a lot of people, They get a lot of unnecessary flak and most of what they make is actually really good quality, Ever held their Orbweaver keypad ? The thing is so well made and it weighs a ton for the size of it ^_^

Compared to Corsair's stuff I'd agree but not compared to any one like Ducky, Das Keyboard,Zowie or even Steelseries. Corsair and Razer are as bad as each other when it comes to peripherals.

From personal experience the brands you mentioned are very over exaggerated in the quality department.
