so i got my brand new raven RV03,

put my new SSD in, installed windows but i wouldn't install my wireless adapter.

so i took it to the kitchen (where my router is) and put it on the side, left the room to go get a RJ45 and.......

CRASH

My brand new Raven is on the floor... stupid case you aren't a bird even if you are called Raven. so it has smashed one corner, killed my second HDD (which had over 4 years of backups on it

) and has bent my CPU cooler.

You cant really see the damage to the cooler but its well bent, despite the damage i've put some MX2 on it and the temps are a couple of degrees lower than my previous case

lesson to all the RV03 CAN'T FLY

lol i wouldn't try it tho.

i'm quite impressed that all that did was the hdd and a it of the corner

if that had been my old midguard i think most of the case wuld be in the bin with most of my parts

gutted mate. You should email silverstone and explain what happened. Ask if you can buy the top plastic panel on it's own

maybe..

i tried that with antec when i had a p180 as my hinge broke. they told me it was £56 for the hinge and another 8 quid for delivery so i dumped that idea.

can't hurt to ask tho i spose

Silverstone arent like that they are awesome with OEM parts

i got a replacement motherboard tray, front io, pci bracket holding thingy and backplate for my tj07 for £40 delivered

sorry guys had some issues with logging in,
i'm not quite sure how it fell off the side thought that i left it in a pretty safe place worst bit was it was runnning at the time. i can laugh at it now as its all running.

anyways kudos to Ruthless_villain you were right,
just finished exchanging emails with silverstone customer services and the total cost was about £27 inc delivery from hamburg amazing
when it all gets here i'll update you all with some pics

I'm pretty sure if my R3 ever fell from anything more than 1cm it would kill all but my SSDs. I think you've been remarkably lucky!

i knock pcs over all the time. but then again the most i have are built like tanks. or fall of a shelf onto the back of my head. that was the painfull one. but never killed hardware or a case like that lol.
