Ram for new rig

I wouldn't say the light is orange it is a very light amber, but closer to yellow than orange. Out of all the yellow lights I have tried the lights on the ram is the closest I have found.

All the Avexir Mpower stuff under $ 229.00 usd is out of stock at the moment and the Avexir direct only offers the 1.65v version ( unless I missed something ) To bad actually as I kind of liked the orange LED look ..

Nothing is wrong with it, however when i read that you are going for an orange and black color scheme - try G.Skills ARES.

I used them in my rig, got the photos on the project log too if you wanna see.

They're orange in black pcb, low profile RAM sets.

I went with the Mushkin if anyones still following ...looks good . see if it performs

okay so the rig is built and running flawlessly accept that when I go in to Click Bios 2 it says my ram is 1333mhz instead of the 1600 Mushkin advanced black that I bought . How do I get the MSI MPOWER mobo to recognize that ???

Enable XMP or set your frequencies, timings and voltages by manually overclocking it.

shouldn't it be at 1600 by default ? and I didn't see a tab for that unless it was under OC Genie

lemonpledge, it is by default set at 1333MHz in all MOBO (I think... seen in ASUS and MSI boards). like feronix said, enable the XMP or manual set it at 1600MHz.
