Ram for Ivybridge

Hi guys, I have a dilemma on my hands. I'm going to be building an Ivybridge rig once the processors hit the market. I'm thinking of buying an 8GB kit of the G. Skill ripjaws X 1600Mhz. I want to know if there will be new ram specially designed for the z77 ivybridge chipset. I read somewhere that IB will support up to DDR3 1600MHz however will there be new, possibly better performing ram releasing to coincide with IB?

There wont be any RAM special for Ivy it will be dual channel DDR3 the same as Sandy is now

I totally agree with SieB. So far all Sany Bridge compatible RAM will work perfectly fine for Ivy Bridge as it will also be dual channel.
