Ram @1600Mhz causes system instability

Do you use the orange dimmslots? Maybe raising qpi/vtt a little to 1.25v-1.3v could help. The older 1366 chipset could need a little more tweaking when you use tighter timings or more bandwith.

yes they're in the orange dimm slots, first i'll try raising the qpi/vtt and if it crashes again i'll try booting with a single stick of ram and run prime95 with all the different sticks to see if one of them is faulty

So, i did some vigorous testing now and i still have the same problem grrr :/
So i ran memtest86 on every ram stick @1600Mhz on its own and they all passed the test.
Then i raised the vcore to 1.2 as i thought maybe it was too low and raised the qpi/vtt voltage to 1.35v and also tried loosing the timings a little bit to 9-9-9-24 and raising the dram voltage to 1.6.

Do you think it will be a good idea to talk to the shop where i bought them maybe i'll get another set to test with?

It looks like you lost in the chiplottery. If you could get another set from the shop to test,i would try that or if they could take them back, because they failed to work at rated settings...Had some 2000mhz rams once on a R3E mobo-i7-950,and they also failed to work at rated specs,no matter how much i tweaked in bios.Got some dominators and they worked at 2000mhz.
But if you could find some Corsair Dominators like these

A little pricey, but they have worked on all x58,z68,z77,x79 mobos i have owned without any issues at all.

tested everything humanly possible and think i arrived to the conclusion that the graphic card is bad :/ ran memtest86 and windows memory diagnostic and the ram reported no errors @1600Mhz. now i noticed that everytime it crashes (that is when i load any type of game or benchmark tool) the gpu load and temperature go blank from my g510 lcd.

till now i tried rolling back driver and setting all the graphic card core clock and memory to stock. tomorrow i'll try another graphic card

today i had this idea cause i'm running an 8 pin and a 6 pin extension for the graphic card a thought i might as well try without them before getting into all the hassle of removing the gpu from the case and stuff. seems that did the trick, ran furmark for 5 mins no problems, ran 3dmark vantage with the cpu @4ghz and gpu @850 core and got my highest score yet :P

This is what the current setup looks like and i'll test the extensions/other pci-e cables later :)

Thanks to all those that tried to help, really appreciate it
OC3D FTW :PP

Extensions cables
Nice low voltage at 4.0ghz ^_^

i know right -.- all that hassle and days without gaming cause of some cheap ebay extensions :|
i'll get some proper nzxt ones now as i dont want to ruin the look of my case with stupid coloured cables

As for vcore, i guess i'm lucky i run it @ 1.025v constantly at 3.2ghz, pretty good i guess and it's completly stable i ran prime95 for hours no errors :P
