Hello guys,
I'm using my actual rig with 2 SSD's in RAID 0 for about 2 and half years, but i decided to stop using them in a raid config.
My problem is now that i turned off the onboard raid controller and turned AHCI on, I keep getting the raid screen when bios is posting before windows boots up.

Thank you in advance guys and sorry if I wasn't clear. :p

If you keep getting the raid screen it cant be disabled properly

As Tom said, it can't be disabled correctly, if you can't figure out what to change, then a reset bios will be in order to restore default settings, this should then sort out your issue, so make sure you've backed up any overclock settings etc before you pull the plug on it.

You have backed everything up and then reformatted both of the drives right?

+1 I always thought that even if you switch to AHCI in the bios, unless you format your disks the pc would recognise the raid setup and still post the raid screen, even if you cant boot to OS.

It sure as hell won't boot from a single drive of striped data :D

And yes I can't figure out what to change in order to this screen disapear, but I ended updating my bios, so everything is restore to default settings.

Thanks anyway guys!
