true that. for all around best sff case i vote the aria ;)

hmm, that sli shuttle is cool, but it defeats the purpose of a HTPC so I would never get something like that

personally i like a big roaring black tning next to me, if i had a shuttle, it would be too small, and i dunno, i jsut wouldnt like it, i might gut the inards and put it in a comp case lol, but if it wat u want, and it can keep itself cool...somehow...then it sounds good, and i am getting a 630 in my new intel rig:D

Well my rig is very loud and I just want some thing to have in the front room while the missus watches the TV. Don't wanna interrupt her OC do we?? lol

OK I have changed my mind about all this :o

I have decided I really want 2 x 1gb Crucial Ballistix Tracers and an AMD X2 for the main rig...soo....here's the plan

Buy RAM for main rig. Buy X2 for main rig.

Thinking of AMD X2 4400+ - or 3800+ depending on maa budget at the time (couple of months) :yumyum:

Keep Venice for shuttle project and either keep RAM for shuttle project, or sell it and but new RAM for project.

Then save and get rest of shuttle kit together.

Have pwning main rig with d/c and a nice cool little AMD shuttle.

Mods - better move this to AMD section ;)

I've been debating on what I want to do and looking at some great deals so I've changed my mind again.

Especially since I am having new RAM :)

Found a bargain mATX motherboard :) Its AMD: probs get a 3200+

Getting this case:

Using the Plat Rev 2 for RAM, getting a decent HDD, Optical etc.

Also will get wireless keyboard/mouse set + MCE. Maybe even the MS one :)

That's a slick little case! It would go well with the other stuff in my A/V rack.

/me thinks about the idea of an MCE puter...

Yeah thats exactly why I'm getting it. Its going under the TV in the lounge and therefore will look pretty awesome. May also be watercooled (with small a n00b kit) to keep it quiet: we'll see :)

EDIT: Choice of these three; which do you think would go best, be easiest to install and be nice and quiet? Remember this is NOT for overclocking: its for quiet
