Quiet Case

Your budget makes it extremely difficult to find any silent case at all. The only one that I could think of would be the Cooler Master Silencio 450. That one costs exactly €50,- where I live (The Netherlands).
I'd really suggest saving up that bit more and go for a Silencio 550 or Nexus Prominent 5 which both cost around €70,-

Tricky one as cases are very much a personal preference, no case is perfect and suits everyone. The Euro is "funny money" to me, only a few cases come to mind at a £50ish budget.
As Feronix mentioned there is the CM Silencio 450, I have used that myself. It has sound proofing material installed but it limits the Max cooler height to 156mm (ish) and the max GPU length is 280mm unless you pull out one of the HDD cages. The front has a door to cover the optical bays, this is dampened to quiet the noise of the optical drive when in use. The case has a simple card reader and a front USB3 port but it doesn't connect directly to the mobo header. Unless you buy an adapter you have to pass the cable out the back of the case and plug it in the rear of the mobo. I was surprised that there was no PCI blanking plate supplied to help with this to keep it looking tidy, bit of a bummer that
Keep in mind the two supplied fans are only 800rpm so are hardly shifting alot of air and the sound proofing is most likely insulating heat as well as muffling sound.
I am quite fond of the Zalman Z9 U3 as a budget mid-range case. Although it isn't fitted with sound proofing material the three supplied fans are pretty good and quiet and the case has a dual fan controller built in too. Hook up the two blue LED fans to this and you can adjust the speed (ie noise) which in turn dims the LEDs. There is a nice window to show the internals off but hides the HDDs from view and there is no venting in the window panel to ruin the aesthetics. Case has dual USB3 ports (and two USB2) but like the CM 450 it ideally needs an adapter, that said it does include a blanking plate with holes in to help you route the cables out the back. Max GPU length is 290mm, there is no option of removing the drive cage but it can take rather large air coolers such as the CM 612S which is 163mm tall.
I'm fond of Corsairs 300R too and they are releasing a 330R which has been given the silent treatment but I don't know it's price tag. Think I've waffled enough for now lol I'm sure you'll get some other suggestions to consider, I look forward to seeing what you settle on in the end

The corsair 330R seems a good choice, I like the design a lot just like fractal design r4 and there are some cooling options however on this website it says costs could go up to 89,99 £.
Anyway I'll just save some extra cash.

I seriously love the look of that Corsair Air 540 but the 330R price tag was quoted at 89.99 Dollars not Pounds Sterling. There is also the Bitfenix Ghost you could consider perhaps? It should be cheaper than the Fractal R4

The Ghost is around the same price as the Prominent 5 and Silencio 550.

The case makes no noise at all what you need to quite fans, i would go for case you like the look of and get some nice fans for it.

Doors and isolating materials help a lot though. You're obviously going to hear any fan much more in an open space than when it's in a closed case.

Truth is that if you want a silent PC, you'll have to spend more. Unless you're going completely fanless, which would be an interesting project as well tbh :lol:

tom did a review about the fanless CPU cooler, massive thing but costs £75 http://www.quietpc.com/nof-icepipe or for lower loads the cheaper http://www.quietpc.com/ncu-2005 a little under £30
then add the deep silence case http://www.quietpc.com/na-ds2 for £60
at best we are at £90 (106 ish Euro) but a very very quite rig.
no idea what the OP has in his rig so all this is just guess work ^_^

You mentioned those bud so I thought I'd stick in another alternative and link the review.
Not strictly speaking true fella.
As I said with the CM 450 the sound proofing on the door seriously reduces the noise from the optical drive. I don't know what GPU is being used either but if it's rather loud then sound proofing on the case panels will help Shhhh that down too. I mentioned the Zalman Z9 chassis. I did a review for Bitfenix for their Hydra Pro fan controller and was given a pair of 140mm LED Spectre Pros to help me out. These fans aren't especially loud at all but when mounted in the ceiling of that case they made a racket at full chat because of plastic channeling in the cases removable top panel.
With "budget" cases there is always a compromise to be made, I like the Z9 U3 as it's nicely windowed and is packed with kit for the price. Yes he could buy quiet fans and even get sound proofing kits seperately. Bitfenix do a Core Shinobi with no fans or badges/grills ready to be "pimped" but by the time he adds the extras he could have bought a case designed to be quiet in the first place. I don't know if he wants\needs to mount a rad in the case and to be fair that's difficult to find on a budget chassis.
Looks like he is upping the budget and I really look forward to seeing what he settles on. I always enjoy seeing how people bring things together for their build

Or don't get a 'silent' case, but a very open one with lots of mesh, use the passive CPU heatsink, passively cooled PSU and dont use fans if you want *really* quiet
