Quick News

All i can say is LOL i see EA/Dice is at it again

These Game Dev again showing that they love Console more than PC.

yet its still one of the best ports this year. DICE have been consistently solid with PC versions of the game. I'm not a fan of EA but this game is better built than you'd think.

EA have apparently downgraded the visuals on the PC version of Battlefield 1 to fall more in line with the consoles, Glad I didn't buy this.

Its not just PC. PS4/PS Pro players have been complaining.

DICE have since come out:
Producer David Sirland, went on to say that there were "tweaks made to texture pools on all levels" which could "result in a lower res version getting loaded." He also went on to say that these 'tweaks' could improve missing weapons and spawn issues.

FPS issues people have been having on PC seem to stem from the latest Nvidia drivers.

Dude i only ever owned one of the Battlefield games i got bored of it after a week and that was over 5 years ago, Too me all Battlefield games are just reskins of the older games not really original IMO.

Still though downgrading a games graphics to fix an issue is the cheap way out, 1 reason I'll be waiting for this game to be £10.

Even at 1% gain intel is still going to sell them, To me it doesn't look like intel is really worry about Zen

Maybe they are holding back intentionally in order to produce a new SKU which is XX% more than what Zen will offer. If they bump up gains now, it gives AMD a target to aim for with their own release.

Yes, Intel has no reason to release a cpu that's a 10% improvement atm, they're waiting for Zen and they will go from there.

Even though their next big launch is Skylake-E and we can already pretty much predict the outcome?

They don't even really care about the desktop market any more and haven't for years. All they care about is being a firm player in the mobile market, because that is where the lion's share of the market is now.

Well, that and the server market which is what AMD will probably see as the most important, given they've been completely out of it for years.

LOL no.
They care about Data Centers/Servers/HPC/AI/IoT/anything else super profitable. Mobile is trash for margins.

Unconfirmed right now and a very dubious rumour at best. Certainly not impossible, but I am planning an article that can delve into the possibilities that it opens up in the future.

Nice spot, I am looking forward to the discussion on this later today. .

IF this is true then it could be a huge step in the right direction for company relations :)
