Quick News

Intel has released a new official motherboard form factor. Smaller than ITX yet bigger than their NUC's called 5x5. 29% smaller than ITX comes in at 147x140mm (5.5x5.8 inches) which makes it the smallest form factor with a socket on the market. Supports the LGA socket, from Celeron to Core I7 with a max TDP of 65watts, more specs are listed below. The one thing gamers need to pay attention to is that it DOES NOT support PCI. Only iGPU's can be used. This is one reason many people believe it will be more for OEMs than consumers for future SFF builds.

My Favourite beat em up of all (Killer Instinct) will soon be available for windows PC. As long as you own the game on XBOne It will be available via cross over

I have poured hours already into this beauty,

Hopefully it will be a smoother experience because the crappy 30fps that IRONGATE (yes, the screwups from Batman AK) have set does cause a performance hit for something that is meant to be all about constant fluid combo attacks.

No time to write a full on post, but Lenovo has introduced new gaming desktops, a laptop and peripherals and I figured Barnsley would be happy about this ;)

I don't like them sorry

When i'm looking at the photo i just went Meh

I do like that they've added an actual window! I've not seen that on many pre-builts before. Also by the looks of it, they are using proper CPU heatsinks instead of the stock Intel coolers most manufacturers seem to use. So definitely bonus points to Lenovo on these.

Not a think product therefore its not a cool lenovo product  Its a step up from their previous products though. That mesh is a brave choice by them. I guess they'll be gunning for ASUS/Alienware now.

Quite interested to see their gaming keyboard though. Not every big PC manufacturer is selling their own branded mechanical keyboards. even if it is just a rebranded oem product

Well I kind of knew it was content that takes the time but this has shocked me. This is pre DLC too, of which there will likely be many.

AMD Forms Radeon Technologies Group lead by one of the best graphic engineers in the world, Raja Koduri. This newly formed group is dedicated to Graphics Growth in the dedicated GPU market, console markets, Virtual Reality, Augmented Reality, semi-custom chips (such as consoles or other products) and professional GPU compute products. Koduri is probably AMDs best chance at getting back into being a big player. He was responsible for introducing AMDs(and the markets) first DX9 capable GPU. He was also responsible for bringing the Fury Nano to market under his own innovation. Under Steve Jobs, as director of graphics architecture, was a key part into making and bringing the Retina Display into market. He is being billed as Chief Architect and is only reporting directly to AMD CEO Dr. Lisa Su.

Amazing they were able to get him back. Making a dedicated group for Graphics IP is also a smart business move. It should separate the divisions of CPU and GPU teams better and give each one a more clear focus on the future along with managing resources better. This combined with the rumored Silver Lake Firm investing upto 20% into AMD should give this team the added funding to grow and get things out faster.

Good to see some positive steps. Wonder if they're going to look at restructuring/selling off part of the business and keeping focus say on GPU's?

Interesting times at AMD.
