We’ve noticed that some members of the PC gaming community, like Discord Communities before it, have encountered a bug in an old v1.0.1.0 DLSS DLL that falsely appears to generate frames on 20/30-series hardware. There is no DLSS Frame Generation occurring—just raw duplication of existing frames. Frame counters show a higher FPS, but there is no improvement in smoothness or experience. This can be verified by evaluating the duplicated frames using tools like NVIDIA ICAT, or viewing the error message in the Remix logs indicating an error with frame generation.


DLSS frame generation DLLs have since fixed this bug, and NVIDIA will be issuing an update to RTX Remix in the future to prevent further confusion when frame generation is behaving incorrectly.

LukeFZ564 who released the free Frame Generation mods for Starfield and Lies of P has released another for Assassins Creed Mirage, Works nicely.

Hogan needs to rework Mirage because the textures in that game look 10 years old. Those wooden planks and ropes :O very bland... at least FPS increase was nice.

Would be nice but I highly doubt Hogan would bother with this as it's basically just a standalone DLC for Valhalla, He's too busy with updates to his Witcher 3, Starfield and Cyberpunk projects.

They can lock what they want. If its going to cook my system as much as the 14900k does. Id still take a 13900k over 14th Gen.

The makers of the handy tool Process Lasso have come out with a fairly simple and free tool for Intel hybrid CPU's, CoreDirector. It lets you force certain processes to only use the P cores and avoid the E cores. It's basically a super lite simple version of Process Lasso.
