Too many watts crammed into a too small area in a connector that's been mass produced by the lowest bidder. Gee, who would have thought that would go well?

I don't mind the extra pins as such, just don't try and make them too small for no good reason. If material is a problem, then the focus should be making devices use less power to negate the need for something like this in the first place.

If it was that simple, we would have had answers to the issue already, but the fact that no one can reproduce this, means its got to be more to it than that.

To be fair that could be the end result which leads to melted connectors and something above stream(or down) is causing that to be the visual issue we see.

A mod for Batman Arkham City that was released yesterday after a few years work overhauls thousands of textures, Some hand drawn and some through AI upscaling.

Tried it and it makes a very nice difference to the game.
