So Intel posted some raptor specs by mistake. Not really 6Ghz is it. Close is not actual

It's 5.8. it will boost to 5.8 so long as it remains under 70c. After that it drops to 5.4.

So it's 4-600mhz faster than AL.

Apparently Cypberpunk 2077 is getting a new RT setting "RT Overdrive" guessing it will be when the expansion comes out in a few months.

Shown at 52 seconds on the Digital Foundry video as they got a pre-view build to test their 4090 with.

Who cares? it's a crap game.

Was crap when it launched and is still crap now. If this is the best they can do to shuffle people out of £1600 then they just look desperate. I love how they mention their RT Portal thing as next gen gaming. Wow, really reaching HARD.

If this release means anything it basically shouts loud and clear RT is a failure. A total failure.

subjective comment. I for one enjoyed it at launch and even more so now. I liked Anthem too but it was just lacking end game.

It wasn't as good as The Witcher. I am not talking about its graphics or the many bugs and them lying through their back teeth when it came to last gen console performance but the actual game. The story was disjointed, and was at best an average game. A 70%er, even if it had of worked properly.

Continually revisiting it to sell your GPUs is kinda lame. Where are the big hitters? like Starfield or something like that? nope, have an old game. Or if you don't want that game? have an even older one like Portal, and we will put that in our "next gen" games.

I tell you what would have impressed me far more? seeing Dying Light 2 running at anything close to acceptable. Not a great game either, but better than Cyberpunk.

But that's just it, isn't it? all of the big upcoming games don't even bother with RT. And I don't see that changing, unless Nvidia put their hand in their pockets (like F LOL) and start paying people to implement it.

So according to an Nvidia rep, DLSS3 in a way is coming to 3000 and 2000 series cards just not the frame interpolation/generation segment of it.

Logitech has jumped into the pro esim racing scene with a new DDU steering wheel and pedals.

$999/£849 for the wheel
$349/£299 for pedals

While this will never be as good as fanatec, Logitech may have a huge launch given the availability that logitech has in the EU markets. Fanatec still have a long backlog of orders when it comes to their DDU units.

DLSS 3.0 is DLSS 2.0 plus support for Frame Generation and Nvidia Reflex. So it does make sense that super resolution will still be supported on older RTX cards.

£1679 same price as "Founders" from the always overpriced Overclockers.

To be fair that is only £30 more expensive than I paid for my 3080Ti during the "Shortages", but I will not be paying that much for another card again.

Already told a few friends, if the prices keep going like this even though I can afford it somewhat, I will not be paying these prices for PC Parts, not considering Consoles are now on par with PC typically and use Keyboard and Mouse, it's only stuck in the mud dev's that refuse to add it and if that is the way they want to be, then when it comes time I will stop playing those games.

Wonder how AMD would let that through the cracks. You'd think they would want this "tune" just to make their products seem better to reviewers and consumers? Strange.

Lucky for them its an easy fix, and now a good marketing announcement "witness 30C lower temps than previous Gen"

*undervolting and certain criteria must apply*

Maybe AMD wanted to guarantee maximum performance with minimal inhouse tuning or silicon selection. In the same way they (and Nvidia) have released cards drawing far more voltage than needed for production and distribution simplicity as well as guaranteeing optimal FPS for 'teh chartz', maybe AMD kept it simple and left the tweaking up to users.

You remember how it was with Maxwell—they were overclocking kings. Nvidia could easily have cranked the clocks themselves like they're doing today with Lovelace, but they allowed users to do it because they knew they'd have the top spot in gaming no matter what clock speeds they used. GTX 980's were able to overclock from 1200Mhz all the way up to 1600Mhz with minimal fuss. Back then, overclocking was awesome. Nowadays, undervolting is awesome. It's reversed.
